Weekly live classes on Zoom: Sundays, 10-12 pm EST.
PREREQUISITES: Registrants must be able to read Arabic letters & words aloud.
NOTE: Classes will not be recorded. Students must attend class to practice reciting to the teacher.
Due to the interactive nature of the class there is a strict enrolment cap of 10 students.

1) The rules of Nūn, Mīm & Madd from the poem Tuhfatul-Atfal for beginners in learning Tajwīd.
2) How to pronounce letters precisely from the poem Al-Muqaddimah al-Jazariyyah by Imam al-Jazari.
3) With extensive opportunities for practice. Practice the rules your learn and perfect your recitation by reading to your teacher every week. Hear other students recite and correct your mistakes.
Shaykh Mohammad AbdulAziz
Shaykh Mohammad has a Tajweed Certificate, Higher Qiraat Certificate, and Qiraat Specialization Certificate from the Ismailia Qiraat Institute affiliated with Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.
He has also earned a Higher Diploma in Quran Recitations and Sciences (Bachelor’s Degree), from the College of the Holy Quran for Recitations and Sciences at Al-Azhar University.
He has ijazah in multiple chains of narrations in the canonical Qira'at (readings) of the Qur'an.
He has a single chain of narration in the narration of Hafs on the authority of Asim, by way of Al-Shatibiyyah.
He has a chain of narrations in the ten minor recitations by way of Al-Shatibiyyah and Al-Durrah.
He has several chains of narration in the ten major recitations, by way of al-Jazari's Taibatul al-Nashr.
He currently lives with his family in Ontario, Canada.
